Recent Events

As usual during the Easter school holidays, we held a Craft Morning for local children. We think it was our busiest ever as we welcomed several new faces, as well as others we knew from previous craft events, from Little Acorns or from our church family. We all had a great time, and many fantastic things were made and eagerly taken home. Others just enjoyed playing with lego, play dough etc - and eating cake!

The Parish Quiz Night in February was another good evening, with plenty of (friendly) rivalry over some tough questions. And fish & chups or potato & chilli to fortify the little grey cells.

Both the Games Evening (Friday 17th November) and our Punch & Pies (Saturday 2nd December) were very pleasant relaxing evenings (unless you took the games as seriously as some Scrabble players!). Thanks to everyone who joined us.

The Craft Mornings in the October "half term" and August holidays were as busy and creative as ever. Many thanks to everyone who came along and made each session such fun.

On June 10th we were able to enjoy the Coffee Morning and Garden Event in the beautiful surroundings of Jenny and Malcolm's garden. The weather was great, the stalls had lots of interesting goods to buy and the coffee and cookies went down very well.

Our Cream Teas and Music event on Saturday 6th May was a great relaxing time, thanks to the delicious teas and the great music provided by Heligon Pie and Katherine & Bruce.
