St John's

60th Celebrations

harvest

St John's will be celebrating 60 years in our current building with a special weekend of activities, Friday 28th to Sunday 30th September. The very first service in the finished church was a Harvest Thanksgiving and again we will be giving thanks for all God's goodness, in a variety of ways:

Friday 28th, 7.00pm for 7.30pm - HARVEST SUPPER

Tickets, costing £7.50 for adults and £5.00 for under 18s, will be available shortly. This will include the meal and a glass of wine/juice. Further drinks can be purchased from the bar. Do come along for a pleasant evening of food, chat and entertainment.

Saturday 29th,12noon to 2.00pm - APPLE PRESSING with KIDLINGTON ABUNDANCE

Bring along your surplus apples and members of Kidlington Abundance will help you prepare and press them - so you can go home with delicious fresh apple juice. If you don't have any apples, then come anyway to watch the fun - and perhaps cadge a bottle from someone!
